CWG News: Making A Difference In Our Community

Tyler and I are thrilled with the successes we have created within our business and for many of you, but we recently had a conversation about making a larger impact on our community and those less fortunate.  We are blessed to have the resources, time, and skills to focus on this endeavor and have decided to focus our efforts on bettering the lives of children as they are often victims of circumstances they cannot control.

I am honored to have accepted a seat on the Marketing and Development Committee for America’s ToothFairy and will be leveraging Tyler to make the most of this exciting opportunity.

America’s ToothFairy was formed in 2006 to address the children’s oral health crisis in the US. As a resource provider, America’s ToothFairy increases access to oral health care by supporting non-profit clinics and community partners delivering education, prevention and treatment services for underserved children.  More information can be found on their website: http://www.ncohf.org/.

Since 2006, America’s ToothFairy has distributed more than $19.7 million in vital resources including educational materials, dental supplies and equipment, oral care products and financial grants to community partners, non-profit clinics and volunteers to promote prevention and increase access to dental services for children in need.

The Marketing and Development Committee guides the overall fundraising strategy for America’s ToothFairy. In addition, the committee will develop strategies to communicate America’s ToothFairy’s mission to potential donors to secure support for the delivery of dental care and oral health resources for children in need.

I will be attending my first committee meeting in the coming weeks and look forward to developing strategies and planning events to raise awareness and resources for the overall mission.  More to come on this soon, but I hope you will share in my excitement.  It’s time to get to work!
