Crown’s 5 Year Anniversary CEO Update

Over the weekend Crown Wealth Group celebrated its 5-year anniversary as a fully independent advisory firm. After working at prior advisory firms for more than a decade, it’s hard to believe I’m already passing this milestone at Crown. I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the past and look forward to the future together with our team, partners, and clients.
 
The success of our firm is squarely rooted in the success of our clients. 2023 was a fantastic year in the markets, which helps tremendously in getting each of our clients to their long-term goals. Creating success for our clients has allowed us to in turn create success for our company and team, and for that, we are extremely grateful.
 
Five years ago, we were providing advice to 24 families and managing their $10million portfolio assets. It was just Tyler and I in a small office in Uptown Charlotte, but we were doing good work and having fun being on our own. Five years later, our team of nine operates out of two beautiful offices, serving 220 clients and their $265million portfolio assets.
 
This level of growth is not the norm. We do no marketing and only take new clients through referral, so we really must thank our clients for helping us accomplish this feat. We simply could not have done this without the clients, who we love serving, returning that love through connecting us with their family, friends, and coworkers.
 
We also know that the family office services offered through our Personal CFO solution are not the norm. We are setting a new standard in the industry, and our clients are on the cutting edge of financial advice. A single point of contact for all things financial is what wealthy families are seeking. Our growth over the last five years validates that the solutions delivered, paired with high touch customer service, are what the consumer truly values.
 
As you may have seen in early December, Crown Wealth Group was honored by the Charlotte Business Journal as the 31st fastest growing private company in the Charlotte region. What’s really cool about this list of Fast 50 companies is that Crown was the only financial services company to receive the award. The work we are doing is unique and valued, and that drives us to continue getting better for our clients.
 
As we look to the future, our focus is on integration of technology, efficiency of advice delivery and execution, and customized experiences for our clients. We won’t be adding any marketing or sales goals, we’re just not that firm. Do good work, for good people, and the rest will fall into place; as it has been!
 
I’ll end this quick update with another thank you to our current clients, team, and partners. The first five years were amazing, and I look forward to the next five!
